4th of July Ward BBQ

It was so much fun going to the park by our house to have a BBQ with our ward! They had a HUGE fireworks display. It was a lot of fun! The girls got their face painted and made necklaces, and played some water games!

Time with the Grandparents!

It is so great that Maggie and Mal can spend time with their grand kids. Maggie teaching the girls to make the perfect pie crust, and Mal showing Vaughan how to watch the perfect Western!

Blueberry-Lemon Tea Cakes

This recipe was in the back of July's issue of Martha Stewart. I just had to try it and with a few adjustments for altitude they came out great!

Fashion

I am not sure if I should praise my children's choice of clothing or call the fashion police! I let them wear whatever they choose to. (Unless going to church or the doctors or visiting the Queen) I hope their "fashion sense" will make me rich one day!

Family Comes to Denver

Mom, Dad and Hilary came to Denver for a visit! We had lots of fun swimming at the hotel and BBQing and going to GB Fish and Chips! Thanks guys for a great weekend! See you in November!

Date Night

Sam and I went on a date to see Fast and the Furious 5, and then for dinner after. We went to Biker Jim's Gourmet hot dogs. I had a Pheasant Dog with cream cheese and grilled onions. Sam has a wild boar hot dog! They were both really good actually! They also have reindeer, elk, venison, and rattlesnake! LOL The movie was cheesy but fun, and the dinner was fun too! Thanks honey for a good time!
